                                           Alles Gut Deutschland :D

Laurie and Meee!! :D

7th July.....the day I had been waiting for 5 months had finally come...... I was really excited about this trip to Germany as it was my first trip without my parents. When I first landed in Munich I was a bit nervous and excited - sort of a 'mixed' feeling...
When I saw my Exchange partner/friend Laura Daniela, I was really happy. She is the sweetest person I've ever met. She took very good care of me when I stayed there. She changed all her daily schedules just for me and took me to many places in Augsburg :).

Susi and Laurieee! :)

SUSI- Laura's Mom, was a very very kind, caring and a loving person. She did soo much for me that I never felt homesick. She was always with a camcorder recording everything, right from the moment I stepped into Augsburg till the moment they bid farewell to me.

Alina :)

Laurie's sister Alina was very nice and the three of us ( Laurie, Alina and myself) played a lot of games together.

Oma! :) :)

Another sweet person in her family was her Oma (Grandma). She cooked delicious German meals just for me.They all live in Friedberg, a beautiful place, which is a 20 minute drive from Augsburg.

To attend the school in Germany was a completely different experience and I thoroughly enjoyed all the classes I've been to. :) The educational system in Germany is completely different from ours and it was very interesting.
During my stay there, we visited many places, but the highlight was our visit to the Linderhof castle. It was very very artistic and pretty. We also visited the Brauneck mountain, famous towns like Nordlingen,
Memmingen, Nunberg, the Mercedes factory etc.

Meinen Geburtstag in Deutschland! :P

I was very fortunate to celebrate my Birthday in Germany. On my birthday, Susi, Laurie and Alina woke me up and sang 'Happy Birthday' in German. I was literally dumbstruck and was frozen with happiness. Then we cut a cake which Susi baked for me and everyone gave me presents. It is something which I will never forget :)

During my stay there, my host family arranged for a 'GARDEN FEST', for which they invited all their friends and relatives and had a wonderful sale in their garden. I was very much involved in the garden sale which made me feel as if I was a part of their family too.

Laura, Laurie and myself! :)

My stay there was just like being at home.We used to come back from school, have dinner and just chill out and watch some movies.

My stay in Germany is a wonderful memory which I will Cherish and Treasure for the rest of my life.
I really miss Laurie and her family and I am looking forward to see them real soon :)
